Wasia Khan is the Vice President of the Centre for Discourse, Fusion, and Analysis (CDFA), where she plays a key leadership role in shaping strategic initiatives and global partnerships. She currently serves as the Director of the Division of Strategic & International Affairs, overseeing CDFA’s research engagements in geopolitics, diplomacy, and international security. Additionally, she serves as the Ex-officio Director of the Division of Administrative Affairs and Publications, ensuring the smooth functioning of internal governance mechanisms and the quality of CDFA’s research dissemination.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. Hons.) in Turkish Language and Literature and a Master’s degree (M.A.) in International Relations and Area Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Her academic focus centers on West Asia and the Indo-Pacific, particularly analyzing regional power dynamics, energy geopolitics, and India’s strategic interests in these regions. As an emerging scholar and policy enthusiast, she has a deep commitment to inclusive global discourse and actively contributes to CDFA’s mission of research-informed advocacy and evidence-based policymaking.

Wasia has been instrumental in developing collaborations with academic institutions, think tanks, and policy forums in India and abroad. Her fluency in Turkish and deep knowledge of regional cultures uniquely position her to engage in cross-cultural policy dialogue and strategic analysis.
