Sachin Yadav is currently a Research Fellow at the CDFA Research Foundation and a Research Intern at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), New Delhi. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in International Studies at Jamia Hamdard University, where his doctoral research examines “Afghanistan at the Crossroads: A Geo-Economic Analysis of India’s Trade and Connectivity Strategy in Response to China’s BRI Encirclement of South Asia.” With a strong academic grounding in Economics—holding an MA from IGNOU and a BA (Hons.) from the University of Delhi—Sachin has developed deep competence in international trade, developmental economics, and policy analysis. His multidisciplinary training also includes a B.Ed. from GGSIP University, where he gained extensive pedagogical and educational psychology experience.

Sachin’s professional journey spans teaching, policy research, and international affairs. He has served as a Social Science teacher intern, a Field Investigator for the Vision Viksit Bharat@2047 Research Project, and a Policy Research Intern at the Office of Hon’ble MP Smt. Geeta Shakya, where he drafted parliamentary questions, socio-economic briefs, and constituency reports. He has also completed an intensive internship with the Forum of Global Studies in collaboration with Jimma University, Ethiopia, where he conducted geopolitical case studies and authored a policy brief. Since 2025, he has been teaching undergraduate students at the Hamdard Institute of International Studies, delivering lectures on International Relations, Geopolitics, and global affairs while actively supporting academic planning and student research.

Beyond teaching and research roles, Sachin contributes significantly to the policy and academic ecosystem. As an Honorary Research Fellow at the Forum for Global Studies, he works on independent and collaborative research projects, drafts policy briefs and analytical reports, and mentors junior researchers. He has cleared UGC-NET in Economics twice and holds multiple certifications, including CTET, global diplomacy training from the University of London, and several Swayam courses in psychology, environment, and education. Proficient in both English and Hindi, Sachin combines strong analytical skills with a commitment to evidence-based policy formulation, academic excellence, and meaningful engagement in global governance discourse.
