Hammadurrahman is a Research Scholar of International and Global studies, specializing in West Asian politics, at the MMAJ Academy of International Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He holds a Master’s degree in Politics: International Relations and Area Studies from the same academy, and Bachelor’s in History and Culture from the Department of History and Culture at Jamia Millia Islamia. Complementing his academic training, he pursued a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Arabic Language and Translation from the Department of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia, and successfully completed a two-month Cultural Immersion Programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, further strengthening his regional expertise and linguistic proficiency.

Currently, he serves as a full-time researcher at the Centre for India-West Asia Dialogue (CIWAD), New Delhi, where his work engages with the complexities of geopolitics, diplomacy, and cultural interactions in the West Asian region.

At the CDFA Research Foundation, he holds the distinguished positions of Senior Member of the Advisory Board (Permanent) and Deputy Chairman of the CDFA Governing Council for the term spanning 31 October 2025 to 31 October 2026. Through his academic pursuits, linguistic skills, and research contributions, Hammadurrahman continues to advance nuanced understandings of India–West Asia relations while fostering informed discourse on global affairs.
